Ottawa: Apna Punjab Media: India has taken up the incident of vandalism at the temple in Edmonton with Canadian authorities, India’s Ministry of External Affairs said. Along with this, India has expressed hope that Canada will take immediate action in this matter.
External Affairs Ministry official spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India hoped that local authorities would take strong action against those behind the incident. Asked about India’s reaction to the vandalism at the temple in Edmonton, Jaiswal said, “We have taken up the matter.” Both Delhi and Canada have taken it up with Canadian authorities. We strongly condemn this barbarity. We hope that the local authorities will take immediate and strict action against those responsible.
