Warsaw: Apna Punjab Media: Before leaving for Ukraine today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India believes that battlefield is not the solution to any problem. He said that India is ready to provide all possible assistance for restoration of peace and stability in the region. Mr Modi, who arrived in Poland on a two-day visit, made the above remarks after discussing various issues with Polish Prime Minister Donald Trump. Both leaders decided to transform India-Poland relations into a strategic partnership. They also signed a social security agreement to encourage the movement of skilled workers between the two countries. As part of the second leg of the two-nation visit, Mr Modi will visit Kiev. During his seven-hour stay in Ukraine, Mr Modi will hold one-on-one and delegation-level talks with President Volodymyr Zelensky. Prime Minister Modi will leave for Kiev by train late Thursday evening and this journey will have to be completed in 10 hours. Earlier, many world leaders including US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olf Schultz have traveled by train to Kiev. According to a joint statement issued after the Modi-Tusk meeting, the two leaders stressed adherence to international law and said all countries should refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity and sovereignty or political independence of any other country.
