Sirsa: Apna Punjab Media: Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini today paid obeisance at the historic Gurdwara Sri Chilla Sahib and prayed for the prosperity and progress of the people of the state. He said that this Gurudwara has historical importance. The feet of Guru Nanak Dev Ji were on this earth. From this holy land the saints have worked to guide the entire world with their teachings. He also handed over the registry of 77 kanals and 7 marlas of land to the members of the management committee of Gurdwara Sri Chilla Sahib. The members of the organizing committee honored the chief guest Naib Singh Saini by presenting memento and quince. The Chief Minister said that former Chief Minister Manohar Lal had announced to give this land to Gurdwara Chilla Sahib in a program organized in Sirsa on the occasion of 550th Prakash Purb of Guru Nanak Dev. After this, by passing a bill in the cabinet, this land of Gurus was named after Gurudwara Chilla Sahib. Praising the work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that many announcements have been made for Sikhism in the last ten years, including waiving GST on langar products and celebrating December 26 as Veer Bal Diwas. Baba Jagtar Singh, Kar Seva Baba Gurmeet Singh were present on this occasion.
