Harpreet Singh of neighboring village Akalgarh Khurd died in a road accident in Italy.

Raikot: Apna Punjab Media: A person from nearby village Akalgarh Khurd died in a road accident in Italy. The deceased has been identified as Harpreet Singh (46). On Sunday evening, he was going home on bicycle after working from the farm. Meanwhile, a drunk white car driver hit the bicycle from behind. In this accident he died on the spot. Harpreet Singh’s wife had come to the village 25 days ago for the treatment of her son and she was to return on 23 July. The bereaved family has appealed to the Central and State governments to bring back the body of their son.
