Gurdwara Nanaskar Karnilia Road Bhai Roop Chand’s death anniversary was celebrated at Fresno

Fresno (California): Apna Punjab Media: The death anniversary of Bhai Roop Chand ji was celebrated with devotion by the Sangat of Gaon Samadh Bhai at the local Gurudwara Nanaksar Cornilia Road, Fresno. On this occasion, a large number of Sangat had arrived from all the villages and localities. On this occasion, the Kirtaniya team of Guru Ghar entertained the Sangat by reciting and the Sangat enjoyed the recitation.

After the puja, a pot of Prasad was offered, then Dr. Malkit Singh Kingra and Rajvinder Singh Dhaliwal gave information about the life and bird observation of Bhai Roop Chand. He said that Bhai Roop Chand ji served Guru Sahib from the sixth Patshah to the tenth Patshah and he also received the title of Bhai from the sixth Patshah Guru Hargobind Sahib. He said that Guru Hargobind Sahib had established a city named Bhai Rupa in Malwa in the name of Bhai Sahib, where even today his descendants have kept the symbol of Guru Sahib in the form of a chariot. He told that his last rites were performed at Samadha Bhai. After this, Bhai Saheb’s family established the village Samadh Bhai on his grave 301 years ago. Speaking to the media on this occasion, Sukhdev Singh of Shane Punjab and Jaswinder Singh of India Sweet and Spice said that we will celebrate this anniversary every year and will also provide all possible help. Then ate Guru’s langar continuously.
