SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Huson Ladoa Banga) – A jury has sentenced former Nevada political leader Robert Telles to life in prison for the murder of a Las Vegas reporter. He will have to spend at least 20 years in jail before being released on parole. Talas, 47, a former Clark County public administrator, has been convicted in the September 2022 death of Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter Jeff Germany. Telus stepped down after hearing the verdict. It is noteworthy here that during the hearing, Tellus admitted that if Jeffs had not written the damaging article about him, he would have won the primary election for Clark County Public Administrator. In his articles, Jeff exposed the turmoil in political office at Telus.
