Former Nevada politician sentenced to life in prison for murder of Las Vegas journalist

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Huson Ladoa Banga) – A jury has sentenced former Nevada political leader Robert Telles to life in prison for the murder of a Las Vegas reporter. He will have to spend at least 20 years in jail before being released on parole. Talas, 47, a former Clark County public administrator, has been convicted in the September 2022 death of Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter Jeff Germany. Telus stepped down after hearing the verdict.
