Dhaka: Apna Punjab Media: Bangladesh’s interim government chief Mohammad Yunus said that former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina making political comments while sitting in India is an ‘unfriendly sign’. Yunus stressed that until Dhaka appeals for Hasina’s extradition, Hasina should keep her mouth shut so that both countries do not face any inconvenience. He said, ‘If India wants to keep her (Hasina) until Bangladesh (government) demands her extradition, the condition will be that she will have to keep her mouth shut at her official residence here.’ Bangladesh values โโits strong ties with India, but New Delhi needs it too That they should give up the narrative that other political parties except Awami League are Islamic and without Sheikh Hasina this country will become Afghanistan. Yunus said, ‘No one is happy with Hasina’s decision because we want her to be sent back for court proceedings. She is in India and speaks occasionally, which is a big problem. If he had kept his mouth shut, we would have forgotten him, people would have forgotten that he was busy in his own world. But she is speaking and giving instructions while sitting in India.
