Fremont: Apna Punjab Media: Tea Dao festival associated with Punjabi culture was celebrated with great pomp in Fremont, California. Women, sisters and Punjabi girls cried at this tea festival. Culturally related are Punjabi clothes, Punjabi jewellery, toys, flowers, jewellery and many other items that reflect the culture.
In the summer season, Pot Kulfi brought by Satwant Saini had a special attraction. There were special arrangements for different types of food in his fair. From exactly 12.30, the women danced with songs and music and after that the women created a wedding-like atmosphere by dancing and singing with plates of desi ghee laddus.
Sukhninder Bhangal, Jagdish Phangura, Davinder Saran, Jaswinder (Radio Charaddi Kala), Amarjeet Ghuman distributed good laddus. The laddu was prepared by Jagdish Phagura of Khushi Creations. Ladoo is also sponsored by them every year. The men’s teams prepared by Jagmeet Sangha were well appreciated. The dance and choreography of Punjabi Dhadkan was amazing, the teams composed by Sandy Grewal, Jaspreet, Jiya Sodhi, Sukhi Bhangal, Ritu Seehra and the talented granddaughter of Sukhi Bhangal danced their hearts out. All the sponsors of the program were thanked by both sisters Aman and Pawan. Aman, Pawan, Sukhi Bhangal and Koni Ghaman were given special honors by the Assemblywoman’s office. DJ.
