Washington: Apna Punjab Media: Dhruvee Patel, a computer information systems student from America, has been declared the winner of Miss India Worldwide 2024, the longest running Indian pageant outside India. Dhruvi aspires to become a Bollywood actress and UNICEF ambassador. After being crowned in Edison, New Jersey, Dharvi said, “Winning Miss India Worldwide is an incredible honor. It’s more than a crown, it’s an example of my legacy, my values and an opportunity to inspire others globally. ” In the same race, Lisa Abdoelhaq of Suriname was declared the first runner-up, while Malvika Sharma of the Netherlands was declared the second runner-up. In the Mrs. category, Suanne Moutet of Trinidad and Tobago was the winner, Sneha Nambiar was the first and Pawandeep Kaur of the United Kingdom was the second runner-up. Shreya Singh of Netherlands and Shraddha Tedjo of Suriname were declared first and second runners-up. The beauty pageant is organized by the New York-based India Festival Committee and led by Indian-Americans Neelam and Dharmatama Saran.
