Chandigarh: Apna Punjab Media: Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has made big announcements for the farmers of the state. Addressing a program in Kurukshetra, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini announced waiver of dues of farmers worth Rs 133 crore. Also announced to purchase 10 new crops at minimum support price. After the new announcement, Haryana government will purchase all the crops from farmers at minimum support price. Let us tell you that the Central Government also buys 24 crops at the minimum support price. In another announcement for farmers, the Chief Minister said that before 2023, Rs 137 crore will be given in a week as compensation for crops destroyed due to natural disasters. On June 27, the Chief Minister had announced that tube well connections would be given to all the farmers who applied by December 31, 2023.
Making another announcement regarding tube wells, the Chief Minister said that when old tube wells were damaged, boring had to be done elsewhere and the condition for operating those tube wells was solar energy, which the government has removed. Announcing a big relief for the farmers, the Chief Minister said that if the transformers of the farmers who have been installed by the electricity corporations get damaged, then the electricity corporation will replace them at its own expense and no money will be taken from the farmers. Companies selling three star motors for tube wells across the country will be able to register themselves on the department’s portal. Farmers will be able to buy three star motor of any company.
