Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann wrote a letter to the Vice President to conduct PU Senate elections.

Chandigarh: Apna Punjab Media: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has written a letter to Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. In which he has appealed to the Panjab University and Chandigarh administration to conduct the Senate elections of the university as soon as possible. Panjab University Chandigarh is part of the emotional, cultural, literary and resourceful heritage of our state. Since the establishment of the university, the Senate was constituted every four years, but surprisingly, the Senate was not elected this year. Whereas for the last six decades, these elections were held every four years in August-September. There is an atmosphere of concern in education and management due to the delay in Senate elections in the university. I hope that some concrete steps will be taken by the Vice President soon.
