Mandi: Apna Punjab Media: BJP MP Kangana Ranaut stressed the importance of three controversial farm laws for the welfare of farmers and advocated their reinstatement. Speaking to reporters at the conclusion of the local fair in Gohar, Kangana said, “Farmers are the pillars of the country’s development. I appeal to them to demand reinstatement of the laws (farm laws) for the larger good. Kangana expressed confidence that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to the welfare of farmers. He claimed that these laws will provide financial stability and growth to farmers and will also be beneficial for the agriculture sector. The three agricultural laws introduced initially faced huge opposition, after which these laws were withdrawn. He said the protests are mainly limited to a few states.
