President Droupadi Murmu, Union Ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh today paid tributes to the martyrs on the anniversary of the Mumbai terror attacks. Paying tributes, he wrote that India has become a leading country in counter-terrorism initiatives. Terrorism is a blot on the entire humanity, he said, adding that the Modi government’s zero tolerance policy against terrorism has been appreciated by the entire world. On November 26, 2008, 166 people were killed and over 300 injured in simultaneous attacks by 10 Pakistani terrorists in several parts of Mumbai. Ten heavily-armed terrorists of Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) were involved in carrying out attacks at prominent places like Taj Palace Hotel, Oberoi Trident Hotel, CST Railway Station and Nariman House while entering the city through the sea route.
