Big support of investment firms to the Republican candidate Donald Trump in the US presidential elections

Washington: Apna Punjab Media: Republican candidate Donald Trump in the US presidential election has become the favorite of investment and securities firms. Opposition party Trump has so far received donations worth Rs 955 crore from here, while Democratic candidate Kamala Harris has received only Rs 163 crore from investment firms. Trump received five times more donations from this area. Retired people have also chosen Trump in terms of donations. Trump received Rs 775 crore from pensioners, while Kamala received Rs 183 crore in donations. The main reason for this is retirees’ support for Trump’s right-wing nationalist policies. He has emerged as a big supporter of Trump’s retirement benefits tax cut. Kamala Harris has received donations of Rs 34 crore from working people, while Trump has received donations of Rs 18 crore from this class. The reason for this is Kamala’s promise to give tax exemption to the middle class.
