New Delhi: Apna Punjab Media: Delhi government minister and AAP leader Atishi has got a big relief in the defamation case. Delhi Court has granted bail to Atishi on surety. BJP leader Praveen Shankar Kapoor had filed a defamation case against him. He was summoned in this connection. On Tuesday, she appeared in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court, after which the court granted her bail. BJP alleges that Atishi has accused the party of corrupting AAP MLAs by giving them money. This has damaged the image of the party. ()The BJP leader said in his complaint that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi have repeatedly claimed that ()BJP is trying to break Aam Aadmi Party MLAs by offering crores of rupees and seats. These allegations are completely false and fabricated. Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal had termed the summons sent by Delhi Court to Atishi in the defamation case as dictatorship and alleged that the Bhartiya Janata Party is planning to arrest all the leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party. He said, I said that they will now arrest Atishi. During the Lok Sabha election campaign, he had said that all the AAP leaders were being arrested one by one in completely weak and false cases. Praveen Shankar had said that on April 2, Delhi government minister Atishi had given a statement that BJP had asked her to join the party through a person who knew her personally and was a member of the party. After this, on the same day, BJP issued a legal notice to Atishi to apologize. When he did not apologize, we filed a defamation case in the court.
