SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Hussain Ladoa Banga) – A man hiding in a closet of a home in Pennsylvania has died after being shot by a police officer while trying to scare away police with a knife and an axe, it is reported. According to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, a 55-year-old man was hiding in the basement of a home when police arrived just after 8:00 p.m. local time to report to East Greenville police that he had been attacked by a boy. When he did not come out even after repeated requests, at 11.30 pm the police broke the door of the shop and saw that the man had a knife and an ax in his hands. He threatened the police officers and refused to drop the weapon from his hand. A police officer attempted to subdue the suspect with a Taser but was unsuccessful. Later a police officer shot him, killing him on the spot. The police have not revealed the name of the deceased and the police officer who shot at him.
