An Indian student celebrating his birthday in America died due to bullet injury

A 23-year-old Indian student has been shot dead in the US. According to media reports, Aryan Reddy, who hails from Hyderabad in Telangana, was celebrating his birthday with friends at his home in Atlanta, Georgia on November 13. According to officials, during the birthday celebrations, Aryan was cleaning a gun that he had recently brought for hunting, but accidentally opened fire which hit him in the chest. His friends, who were in another room of the flat, rushed to Aryan’s room on hearing the gunshots and found him lying in a pool of blood. He was taken to hospital where he was declared dead. Reddy was a student of Kansas State University, Atlanta, and was pursuing Masters in Science. His family lives in Uppal district of Telangana. Officials have confirmed that Aryan’s body will be sent to his hometown.
