America seeks India’s support to resolve Ukraine issue

Washington: America wants India to contribute to its efforts for peace in Ukraine. The US State Department has mentioned bilateral cooperation with India in many important areas. This statement of Vedanta Patel, Principal Deputy Spokesperson of the State Department, came when he was asked a question about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meetings with President Vladimir Putin during his visit to Russia. Patel said that in the context of Ukraine, he is continuously asking all the partners of America including India to support them for a permanent peace solution in Ukraine. The State Department has asked Russia to withdraw its troops from Ukraine.
