New Delhi: Apna Punjab Media: India’s Ministry of External Affairs has reported that Indian students in America are being deported without any reason. Over the past three years, 48 students have been sent back to India for deportation by US authorities without any specified grounds. Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh gave this information in Parliament on Friday. There has been a trend among Indian students to go abroad for education, with America being the top destination. However, it has been observed that some students have been sent back to India without any explanation. The issue was raised in the Lok Sabha by BK Parthasarathy, who asked the Ministry of External Affairs about the number of students deported by the US in the last three years and the reasons for their deportation. Parthasarathy also asked whether the government has data on illegal immigrants globally, especially in the US, and what remedial action is being taken in this regard.
