After the debate with Joe Biden, it was believed that Trump was in a position to win, but due to the rapidly changing political situation, his position is no longer the same as before. According to the latest Reuters-Ipsos poll conducted on July 22 and 23, Harris leads Trump with 44% of registered voters. A survey of delegates conducted by AP said that Harris has the support of 2538 delegates, while she needs 1976 delegates to become the party’s candidate. Democratic National Committee Chairman Jim Harrison has said that the party will announce its presidential candidate by August 7.
