A Sikh youth brought glory to Punjabis on foreign soil and achieved great success as an officer.

Ottawa: Apna Punjab Media: Iqbalpreet Singh Virak, son of Ranjit Singh Dharmi Fauji of village Sagalan, has brought glory to the village by becoming a Transit Peace Officer in Calgary, Canada. Iqbalpreet Singh Virk said that he did a 3-year diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering and came to Canada permanently. He said he obtained the Public Safety Professional Diploma in Canada and worked as a safety supervisor for 5 consecutive years and worked for Canadian Railways for 2 years. He said that his father Ranjit Singh is a loyal soldier who has already rendered distinguished services in the army. He said that he worked hard to get this post as per the instructions of his father Ranjit Singh Dharmi Fauji and will start his services as P.Officer. His father Ranjit Singh Dharmi Fauji and mother Simranjit Kaur made his mouth sweet. On this occasion, his father Ranjit Singh Dharmi Fauji said that Iqbal Preet Singh has reached this position after receiving guidance from his grandfather, late Charan Singh, who was serving in the Indian Army.
