Rome (Gursharan Singh Soni) After the tenure of Honorable Madam Reenat Sandhu, the very gentle and friendly Ambassador of the Indian Embassy in Hague (Netherlands), Honorable Kumar Tuhin has taken charge of the Embassy as the 28th Indian Ambassador. Ambassador Kumar Tuhin Sain joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1991. Prior to this, he was the Director General of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICR) from December 2021 to October 2024, Ambassador to Hungary from November 2018 to November 2021, and Ambassador to Hungary from June 2015 to June 2015. Till now has worked as High Commissioner in Namibia. On Kumar Tuhin’s arrival in The Hague (Netherlands), a grand ceremony was organized at the local Fun Dar Fok Hotel Den Haag Wassenaar (Netherlands) to welcome him on behalf of the entire Indian community. In which the entire Indian community living in Netherlands arrived to welcome Kumar Tuhin. Apart from Gujarat, Surinder Singh Rana, Baljit Singh Jassal, Harbhajan Singh Bains of Punjabi community participated in this function. High dignitaries from Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Bengal, Jammu & Kashmir etc. Ambassador Kumar Tuhin extended a warm welcome. On this occasion, Surinder Singh Rana (who has been living in the Netherlands for the last 50 years and selflessly serving the Indian community and playing a key role in many philanthropic and cultural organizations in the Netherlands) informed the press that the Indian Embassy in The Hague is solving the problems faced by the Indian community in a very good way, for which the entire staff deserves to be congratulated. Indian cuisine was also served on the occasion.
