Brampton: Apna Punjab Media: A festival related to Punjabi culture was organized in Brampton, Canada. The fair was organized by an active group of women led by Hardeep Kaur Sidhu at Amber Farm in Caledon, Canada. Cultural activities were organized on this occasion, in which the girls added color with Gidhe and Bhangra. In the competition organized during the program, old words related to culture were asked along with their meanings. Similarly, competitions were organized according to old customs. Many questions were asked like Punis, Glotte, Aeterni, Maun and Tindas of the Well.
Hardeep Kaur Sidhu distributed prizes to the winners. The music continued till late night. Artists Rani Dhillon, Kulbir Kaur Sidhu, National Award winner Sukhwant Kaur, Rupinder Kaur Mahil, Manpreet Kaur Gill, Raman Maluka, Jasveer Kaur Sidhu and Mandeep Kaur Gill were present on the occasion. Hardeep Kaur thanked the audience.
