SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Hussain Ladoa Banga) – It is reported that a father and daughter from Wisconsin, who went hiking in Caninelands National Park in the US state of Utah over the summer, have died. According to the information received, both father and daughter died in 100 degree Fahrenheit (37.7 degree Celsius) temperature while they did not even have water. Albino Herrera Espino, 52, and Beatriz Herrera, 23, died before they were found, according to the National Park Service. Upon discovery, National Park Service rangers and a helicopter from the Bureau of Land Management Moab District immediately began a search operation to find the father and daughter. It took a long time to find the missing father and daughter in the park, located about 250 miles from Salt Lake City. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the bodies of Espinoza and Herrera have been sent to post-partum. It is worth mentioning here that it is necessary to travel more than 50 miles to get food and drinks in Canyonlands National Park, so tourists are advised to carry food and drinks along with water.
