6300 candidates invited to register for Canadian citizenship in Express Entry draw

Ottawa: Apna Punjab Media: 6,300 candidates granted Canada PR in latest draw of Express Entry. Applications have been invited for CRS 515 for candidates with Canadian experience while previously it was running much higher. The Department of Immigration and Citizenship has given PR to 17,361 candidates so far this month. Invitations to submit applications have been sent. A total of 1,391 candidates were granted PR under the Provincial Nominee Program. Invitations were sent but at least C.R.S. 670 remained. PNP in which 600 marks are given automatically and candidates do not have to struggle much. For example, if a candidate’s score is 300 and he is nominated under the Provincial Nominee Program, his total score will be 900. Let us tell you that from 2023, the selection process based on ‘categories under Express Entry’ has been started so that the need of skilled workers in some specific areas can be met. The health care sector is at the top, while demand for science, technology and mathematics occupations is not slowing down. On the other hand, carpenters, plumbers and contractors are also in high demand. Apart from transport, workers associated with agriculture are also being given priority.
