Mogadishu: Apna Punjab Media: 32 people were killed and 63 others were injured in an attack on a hotel located on Lido Beach in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu on Friday evening. Police gave this information today. Police spokesman Major Abdifatih Aden Hassan told reporters that one soldier was killed and another was wounded in the attack, while all the other casualties were civilians. According to eyewitnesses at the scene, firing also took place after the explosion. Al Qaeda’s East African affiliate, Al Shabaab, claimed responsibility for the attack. Al Shabaab said on the radio that this attack was carried out by its fighters.
