3 children abducted from Virginia found 600 miles away in Alabama; their mom was arrested

Virginia : Apna Punjab Media : Police have arrested a woman who they say kidnapped her own children from a Virginia bus stop on Thursday, triggering an Amber Alert. The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office said late Thursday that Shanice Davison, 55, was arrested following a brief pursuit on Interstate 495 in the Birmingham area of Alabama, about 600 miles southwest of the kidnapping. They say her three children were safe and unharmed. Earlier in the day, the sheriff’s office reported that the abduction happened around 7:45 a.m. ET on Thursday. The children were waiting for a school bus outside an apartment complex when they were seized in Fishersville, about 100 miles northwest of Richmond, according to the Virginia State Police. Police said that the children, ages 6 to 10, were in “extreme danger.”
